General information


Because of the COVID-19 virus, we must make adjustments in our daily way of working.
Our policy will be the following:

We will stick to all advice and guidelines as drawn up by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). This has an impact on the service you are used to from us. For example, we no longer shake hands, our office is not open for visits (with exception of handing in and collecting keys), and we will keep a distance of 1.5 meters during viewings.

Viewings will continue as ‘normal’ as possible. We kindly ask you to bring as few people as possible (max. 2 persons including yourself) to a viewing.

If you have a cold or a weaker health, we request that you do not make an appointment on location. If flu or cold complaints are suspected, we are unfortunately forced to cancel the appointment and refuse access to the viewing.

If you have health problems, there is a possibility to make a digital appointment. We can show the property via WhatsApp or FaceTime. If a property is still lived in by a current tenant, the appointment only can take place in cooperation with the current tenant.

We try to keep our service at the level you are used to from us and we apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please contact us by phone or email.

We wish everyone, especially those affected by the virus, strength in the near future.

As soon as there are new developments, we will share them with you.

Your health and the health of our employees gets the highest priority.

 

Check-in procedure


Because of Covid-19, we are forced to adjust our check-in procedure. In order to avoid personal contact as much as possible and minimize the risk of contamination, we will stick to the following procedure:

  • We (Rent2day) will independently carry out the check-in and draw up an inspection report, which we will share by email after the check-in;
  • We ask you as a tenant to do an independent inspection round as well;
  • Any comments that are not indicated on the inspection report drawn up by us, can be shared with us by email;
  • We will send a version of the inspection report trough Signrequest within five days after check-in, so that signing can be done digitally;
  • The key transfer preferably takes place on the day of check-in, taken into account the current hygiene measures as drawn up by RIVM;
  • We prefer that the keys will be collected at our office;
  • No exceptions in the points above will be made while handing over the keys.

Check-out procedure


Because of Covid-19, we are forced to adjust our check-out procedure. In order to avoid personal contact as much as possible and minimize the risk of contamination, we will stick to the following procedure:

  • We (Rent2day) will independently carry out the check-out and draw up an inspection report, which we will share afterwards trough Signrequest to sign digitally.
  • We ask you as a tenant to do a decent independent inspection round before you leave;
  • The keys will be handed over preferably at our office or in the mailbox of our office;
  • In case you will put them in the mailbox, pay attention on the following, put them in an envelope and add only your name on the envelope (NO ADDRESS);
  • The deposit handling has nothing to do with the measures above and therefore will be handled according to your rental contract.
